Explore the Delaware River Waterfront

If you are searching for a destination that features top attractions and fabulous restaurants, look no further than the Delaware River Waterfront.

Nestled in nearby Philadelphia, it welcomes thousands of visitors a year.

Highlights include:

Independence Seaport Museum

The Independence Seaport Museum offers an interactive way to explore Philadelphia's Maritime history. Founded in 1960, it is home to one of the largest maritime art and artifact collections in North America and is a key component of the city's waterfront renaissance. Current exhibits include Navigation, Rescues on the River, and World War I: USS Olympic.

Benjamin Franklin Bridge

Designed by architect and engineer Paul Cret, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge was once the world's longest suspension bridge. Built in 1926, visitors can cross by foot or bike via a popular pedestrian and bikeway.

FringeArts is the permanent home for progressive performing arts on the Delaware River Waterfront. It is housed in a historic 1903 pumping station under the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and is an intimate venue with 232 seats. Its mission is to inspire new ways of thinking, and the programs include dance, theater, and musical performances by emerging and accomplished innovators who push the boundaries of art-making.

The building also features La Peg, a popular restaurant and bar with a grandiose dining room. It is complete with large windows, 45-foot ceilings, and salvaged tanks from the pumping station, and every seat offers dramatic views of the bridge. The menu includes regional American dishes made from scratch, and choices include Yankee pot roast, beer-battered bass, and grilled salmon.

The Delaware River Waterfront is just one of the area's that you can explore if you call Courts at Spring Mill home. Please contact our friendly leasing agents to arrange a tour where you can see firsthand all our community has to offer.
