On a warm spring night, there's nothing better than meeting friends for a night of music under the stars.
Our Conshohocken apartments are located near a variety of amazing outdoor music venues that feature the world's top artists.
Here are a few favorites to check out this season:
Nestled in East Fairmount Park, the Dell Music Center is the fourth largest performance venue in Philadelphia. This open-air amphitheater offers the best in musical entertainment, and it was built in 1929 as the summer home of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Over the years, legendary performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Gladys Knight, and Nancy Wilson have graced the stage. The Dell features over 5,300 reserved seats and 600 lawn seats, and during the summer months, it's known for hosting the Essence of Entertainment concert series. The fun takes places on Thursday nights, and there's always a lively crowd.
Since 1935, the Mann Center for the Performing Arts has offered world-class entertainment. It's one of the largest nonprofit open-air music centers in the United States, and it features breathtaking skyline views. The center welcomes the Philadelphia Orchestra and national touring artists, and over 200,000 people take in a performance every year.
Situated along the Delaware River, Morgan's Pier is an oasis of craft beer, delicious food, and live music. It's named after George Morgan who was the first person to cross the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and is one of Philadelphia's most popular summer destinations. Live music is offered almost nightly, and guests can enjoy cheeseburgers, crab cakes, and jerk pulled pork sandwiches. They all pair well with a pint of Victory Summer Love and Conshohocken Philly Vice.
